Live inventory..I think...maybe....

I searched and rummaged the internet for something that was more, that i could do at home by myself and didn't cost me and arm a leg or a tank of gas. What do you think? The link to the original article is below....

1. Do more than you would do on your own.
The way to accomplish this is to make an appointment with yourself for 2x a week. That’s right, an appointment for undisturbed time. If you need a quiet place, take your self to the library and coach yourself there. Keep the appointment as if you were paying some stranger $200-$400 an hour for it!

2. Take yourself more seriously. You are doing this already as soon as you book the appointments with yourself. By doing this you are recognizing your own value, and the need to give some time and attention to yourself and your life. You’ve decided that you will decide where in life, instead going wherever life takes you.

3. Create momentum and consistency. The way to create momentum is to begin to believe in you, deep down. Start by listing all your positive qualities. Don’t make a list of the negative ones- forget about them, since they are counterproductive. Now take those positive qualities, and think of ways to capitalize on them. Remember that you are not going to do this all in one sitting! This is a process and you are taking the first step.

4. Take effective and balanced actions.
This is done with planning, and adherence to your plan. As a certified project manager, I can vouch for the value of planning. You need to decide what you want to do and set some basic goals. Then you work toward the goals according to your plan. A paid coach can only give you the ideas- you still have to be the one to make the changes.

These are the basic steps to take effective action for your first 2 Self Life Coaching sessions:
Session 1

- This is the first step toward developing your own personal Life Plan. Write down what you hope to achieve by being your own Life Coach.
- Make a list of all the things you do well; every single thing, no matter how small. Keep going, and add even little things. You will be amazed at how much there is. If you are not, you are not giving yourself enough credit, or you are looking for things that are too big.
- Make a list of all the things you would like to do in your life. They can be big or small, professional or personal. Perhaps you want to learn to draw, or become a teacher. These should be positive ideas, and they need not be realistic, or even in the near future. This is about your dreams.

Session 2
- Prioritize the areas of your life that you need to change:
career, personal, and spiritual. List the areas of your life that you would like to change, and decide where you need to start. And please don’t make this about your weight or a diet.
Select the one change that you will begin to work on. Now select the change that you have prioritized and give it some thought.
- Write the 3 steps required to make the change (use more steps if it is a big change). Be sure that you break them into small items so you can accomplish something towards them each week.
- Take the first step before next week’s appointment with yourself, and record it in your Life Journal. Take the first step toward change. Even if that step is a phone call or a web search for information on the change.

5. Become more balanced and fulfilled
Remember, no matter what a professional life coach would tell you, it is still up to you. They only suggest, give you a plan, and perhaps some ideas on how to get there. But it’s still up to you to make the changes, to take the actions, to stick to the plan. If you do it my way, the Life Coach Yourself way, you also end up with a couple of thousand dollars more in the bank!

A New Leaf

I haven't figured that out yet but i'll get to that later. i was talking to my sister the psych. major who after asking her said i have issues. Well duh. i feel i am never good enough. Again, well duh. I have social emotional issues. And yet again....Well Duh. So i'm vowing now to work on those. i'm pretty sure it will be very hard and i will slip ALOT. But i can only hope to fig. things out or maybe read up. I'm sure there are self imporvement books somewhere....Let me know if anyone has any suggestions.

Now What......

So...I don't understand why it has to be so hard to find a job you love, are good at and that makes a difference and keep it. I work hard. I love my job. But i may not be able to keep it due to lack of insurance. I know this sounds a little juvenile when i scream out NOT FAIR but, it's not.

I was blessed with a chronic disease, M.S, which will never go away or get better. Because of this I now need I.V. infusions with meds. for treatment once a month. Can you guess what that one infusion costs.....$2,939.00 yup. That is just the infusion I am getting the actual medication for free from the company who makes it. As I said I get this once a month so my tab is already hovering painfully close to six grand and I still have at least 9 more months to go....Awesome (for those of you who missed it that was sarcasm!)

So what do i do.....Give up a job that I love, that has potential that I'm helping kids at or.....work at Reny's (for those of you who don't know that is a little rinky dink Maine store) I've applied for state aid but have heard nothing back as of tonight. All i know is that by the end of my dream job...I'll have been able to put myself through almost a year and a half of community college classes......crap ......

Fantastic Four...the cartoon....

Yup this is me hangn' out 50 feet in the air holdn' on for dear life. I think that sums out my whole life thus far. I need a direction in life besides "uncontrolled downward spiral" i'm working on that....i'll keep you posted but.....until then....

So I caught the new Fantastic Four cartoon on friday night and i have to admit....not bad. Not great, but overall not horrible. The design was solid and the coloring and animations was adiquite. The story was alot of fun and they mentioned the skrulls for this i was happy although once again they didn't give Doom his due. (no that was not intentionial) I feel that the biggest problem with the cartoon will simply be that i'm to picky and actually expect MORE from a cartoon then what i am recieveing. What me, old and cranky... noooooo.

On a side note Jonny Storm has anime hair and it was driving me crazy!!!! Really Jonny with a pointy chin and super side burns just kinda buged me. I know i know Animation is taking over but really this is Jonny Storm!!. Give the kid some respect he is one of the Marvel Icons! He deserves so much more then sideburns and a pointy chin.
